Special Issue on Innovation in Geoprocessing for a Digital Earth - Call for Papers

We are pleased to announce a call for papers for a special issue in the International Journal of Digital Earth (IJDE): Innovation in Geoprocessing for a Digital Earth. We solicit original, stateof-theart research on real-life applications of online geoprocessing in the context of Digital Earth. 

Topics include, but are not limited to: 

  • Reusability and replicability of spatial analyses
  • Interoperability for geoprocessing, innovations, enhancing existing standards and evaluating best practices
  • Real-time geoprocessing
  • Semantics in online geoprocessing
  • Quality and trust
  • Cyberinfrastructures with spatial analysis capabilities
  • Sensor networks integrated with computing technology
  • Observation platforms including components for data   collection, analysis, forecasting, and visualization

Deadline for submissions is November 2, 2016. Please submit via the Journal’s Manuscript Central Site and indicate in the cover letter that your contribution is for the Special Issue on ‘Innovation in Geoprocessing for a Digital Earth’.
